ONDO Assembly promises more welfare packages for staff




Ondo State House of Assembly has assured of its resolve to continue  prioritising the welfare of Staff and deligently perform legislative business  for efficient service delivery.

The Speaker,  Chief Olamide Oladiji gave the assurance while addressing the Assembly Staff and Commission at this year's first prayer meeting held at the Assembly complex in Akure.

While promising to give facelift to offices and the health center at the Assembly Complex,he said it was an opportunity for Legislators and Staff of the State House of Assembly to converge and thank God for seeing another year 2025.

 Oladiji who read the only Bible lesson from Psalm 121 commended Lawmakers and Staff of the State Legislature for their commitment and hardwork towards smooth running of legislative business in the State.

The Speaker assured of the 10th Assembly's commitment to Staff development even as he urged them to be more productive this year.



He encouraged the Staff to be punctual, diligent and dedicated to their service to humanity.

He speacially thanked Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his passion to develop the State, assuring of continuous symbiotic working relationship and effectively do the legislative business to achieve the set goal.

In his sermon, titled " Why We Should Praise God", Prophetess Abigail Ibitoye (JP) explained the need for staff of the legislative arm of government to always give thanks to God and walk with him in the discharge of their duties.

Speaking from Psalm 121:1-8 Prophetess lbitoye enjoined subordinate to be loyal to the principal to equally rise to the top, saying to avert challenges and have in abundant, people should fear God this year.

The Clerk of the house, Mr Banjamin Jaiyeola in his welcome remarks lauded the exemplary leadership of the 10th Assembly headed by the Speaker Oladiji and the Assembly Commission headed by Dare Emiola and assured of Staff cooperation to bring about smooth synergy between the Lawmakers and the members of the public.

Prayers were offered for the House of Assembly and the Service Commission,the Speaker, members and families including the State in general.
