Hon. Ologede Commissions Boreholes, Reaffirms Commitment to Grassroots Devt.


The lawmaker representing Akure North Constituency in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Kolawole Ologede, has donated boreholes to some communities in Ward 6 and Ward 2, specifically in Eleyowo and Ogbese, within the local government area.


While commissioning the boreholes today, Tuesday, 1st April 2025, Hon. Ologede stated that he is giving back to the people of his constituency in appreciation of their support for him and the All Progressives Congress (APC) during elections in the state.


The lawmaker emphasised that, even without formal requests, he understands the needs of his people and assured residents of his commitment to delivering impactful projects.


Hon. Ologede expressed gratitude to the Governor of Ondo State, Dr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for releasing funds to lawmakers for the execution of constituency projects, describing him as a role model for good governance.


During the commissioning at Eleyowo, the paramount rulers of the community commended Hon. Ologede’s generosity, stating that the borehole would greatly benefit the people.

The Chairman of Ward 6, Adejoro Boye, applauded the lawmaker for his effective representation, describing the provision of these amenities as a great relief to the people.

At Ogbese, Hon. Olayinka Johnson expressed her delight, stating that the project was the first of its kind in the town and was delivered without any prior request from the community.

Similarly, the Local Government Women’s Leader, Funmilayo Akeredolu, thanked Hon. Ologede for providing potable water for the market women in Ogbese. She urged him to continue his dedicated service to the people.
