NAANS Applauds Hon. Ologede for Transformational Projects in Akure North


The National Association of Akure North Students (NAANS) has showered praise on Hon. Kolawole Ologede, the member representing Akure North in the State Assembly, for his remarkable and impactful constituency projects.


In a statement released after a recent meeting, the students’ body acknowledged the lawmaker’s unwavering dedication to improving living conditions and expanding educational opportunities within his constituency.

NAANS highlighted several key initiatives facilitated by Hon. Ologede, including the distribution of UTME forms to students, the construction of a market space, commissioning of a water project, financial support for students, facilitation of job opportunities, the appointment of 21 Special Assistants on Community Development, among others. According to the students, these projects have created positive ripple effects—enhancing access to education, promoting safety, and equipping young people with practical skills for self-reliance.

The group particularly noted that Hon. Ologede has consistently demonstrated a rare level of responsiveness and accessibility to students' concerns, which has made him a trusted and admired leader within student communities.

While commending his efforts, the student leaders also urged the lawmaker to broaden his development agenda. They advocated for increased investment in ICT infrastructure, digital literacy programmes, scholarship opportunities, and the establishment of innovation hubs to empower more young minds and reduce unemployment.

NAANS reaffirmed its readiness to collaborate with progressive leaders who prioritise the welfare of students and youth development. They expressed confidence that Hon. Ologede would continue to deliver transformational projects and set a new benchmark for responsive and people-oriented representation in public office.
