Ondo Govt Lauds NGOs’ Impact, Assures Continued Support


The Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor, Dr Seun Osamaye, has commended non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in the state for their efforts in empowering young people and reducing poverty to the barest minimum.


Dr Osamaye made this statement at the 14th Annual Graduation, Equipment Assistance & Scholarship Award organised by the Women and Youth Wellbeing & Advocacy (WOYWA) in collaboration with the Olojuola Fagbemi Scholarship Foundation, held in honour of the late mother of the former Head of Service, Dr Stella Kosemani Kolawole.

According to Dr Osamaye, the 2025 edition featured 25 graduates trained in fashion design, baking and decoration, hairdressing, computers, barbing, carpentry, and electrical installation.

The Special Adviser praised the founder of the NGO, Chief Dr Stella Kosemani Kolawole, for using the platform to honour the memories of her parents, particularly her mother. She also commended the contributions of impact makers to the development of Ondo State, assuring them that the government remains committed to supporting their initiatives.

Earlier, the founder of the NGO, Dr Stella Kosemani, urged the graduates to make judicious use of the empowerment materials and scholarships provided to them for optimal productivity.
