Ondo Women Affairs Ministry Set To Host Children's Day ln Grand Style



The Ondo State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development has announced that the 2025 Children’s Day celebration will take place tomorrow, 27th May 2025, at the Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Square, Arcade, Igbatoro Road, Akure.


In a statement, the Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Women Affairs, Dr Seun Osamaye, said the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, and his wife, Mrs Oluwaseun Aiyedatiwa, will lead top government functionaries to the event.

The statement added that there will be a variety of exciting activities lined up, and the first 50 schools to arrive stand a chance of winning a bicycle, courtesy of Kidscon.

It also noted that winners in the various competition categories Oratory Skills, Cultural Parade Display, and March Past will receive Lucky Star prizes worth a total of ₦800,000 each, distributed among the first, second, and third positions.

A major highlight of the event will be the inauguration of the 3rd Ondo State Children’s Parliament.
