Ajanaku Promises Strategic Push for Aiyedatiwa’s Agenda


With a wealth of experience in journalism and political strategy, Mr. Idowu Ajanaku has promised to harness the power of strategic communication to drive Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s developmental vision for Ondo State.


Speaking after his screening by the State House of Assembly, Ajanaku expressed deep appreciation for the opportunity to serve, describing the appointment as both an honour and a mission to positively impact the lives of the people.

“I sincerely thank His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for finding me worthy of this appointment. It is both a personal honour and a call to serve the people of Ondo State. I am fully committed to contributing meaningfully to the progress and growth of our beloved state,” he stated.

Ajanaku, a veteran journalist and political strategist, boasts over 15 years of experience with reputable national dailies, including The Vanguard and The Guardian. He is widely known for his robust communication skills and political acumen.

His previous public service roles include serving as Senior Special Assistant on Media and Strategy to former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola, and later as Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to Governor Akinwunmi Ambode. In these capacities, he played a key role in shaping public opinion and executing high-level communication strategies.

Analysts view his nomination as a strategic move by Governor Aiyedatiwa to enhance public engagement, strengthen government visibility, and bolster ongoing development efforts.

As he awaits confirmation by the Assembly, expectations are high that Ajanaku will play a pivotal role in promoting the image and achievements of the administration, while fostering transparency and encouraging greater citizen participation in governance
