Hon. Ologede Hails Nomination of Engr. Akinola Leye as Commissioner


The Honourable member representing Akure North Constituency in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Kolawole Ologede, has congratulated Engr. Akinola Leye on his nomination as a commissioner by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.


In a statement released on Sunday, Hon. Ologede described the nomination of Engr. Leye as “a well-deserved recognition of competence, capacity, and commitment to public service,” adding that the development is a proud moment for the people of Akure North.

“This nomination is not just a personal achievement for Engr. Akinola Leye but a significant honour for the entire Akure North Constituency,” Hon. Ologede said. “It reflects the quality of individuals our constituency continues to produce and the trust our people have earned in the governance of Ondo State.”

He expressed confidence in the nominee’s ability to contribute meaningfully to the administration’s development agenda, noting that Engr. Leye’s track record in engineering and community service speaks volumes of his preparedness for the role.

Hon. Ologede also commended Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for considering Akure North in the appointment process and for selecting individuals with proven integrity and capacity.

He wished the commissioner-nominee a smooth screening process and a successful tenure in office, stating that the people of Akure North look forward to effective representation and impactful governance.
