My Emergence Is a Call to Serve, I’m Grateful to All- ODHA Majority leader Oshat


The newly appointed Majority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. (Chief) Olatunji Oshati, has expressed profound gratitude to God, the state governor, fellow lawmakers, and supporters for the opportunity to serve in his new legislative capacity.


In an appreciation message released  after his emergence, Hon. Oshati described his new role as a divine privilege and pledged his unwavering commitment to the progress of the legislative arm and development of Ondo State.

"Let me at this moment pause to appreciate Almighty God for granting me this esteemed position and opportunity to serve my Honourable colleagues in the Hallowed Chamber as the new Majority Leader of the House," he stated.

Hon. Oshati also commended the Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for fostering a democratic environment that enables leaders to thrive.

"His thirst for development and growth is commendable. He has always proven to the world that he is a man of peace and integrity worthy of emulation. His ease of achieving these is our ease towards renewed hope to prosperity," he noted.

He extended his appreciation to the Speaker of the 10th Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Chief) Olamide Oladiji, acknowledging his exceptional leadership and continuous support.

"My appreciation will not be complete if I don't recognize the show of love and support I received from my distinguished Honourable colleagues," Oshati added. "I appreciate the trust and confidence you have placed in me, and I'm committed to working diligently to meet the expectations of this role."

The lawmaker also thanked the Clerk of the House, Barr. Benjamin Jaiyeola, and the entire staff of the Assembly for their dedication and commitment to duty.

He reserved heartfelt thanks for his wife, children, family, constituents, political allies, traditional rulers, and religious leaders for their prayers and unwavering support.

"With God on my side, I shall continue to contribute my quota to the development of our Sunshine State and advancement of a robust legislative business at all times," he assured.

Hon. Oshati concluded the message with a renewed vow to uphold the responsibilities of his office with integrity and devotion.
