Ondo Assembly Majority Leader,Oshati Expresses Gratitude, Promises to Uphold Trust


The Majority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. (Chief) Olatunji Emmanuel Oshati, has described his emergence as a defining moment in his political career, pledging unwavering dedication to his duties and to the development of the state.


In an official appreciation message made public shortly after his emergence, Hon. Oshati expressed profound gratitude to God, his colleagues in the 10th Assembly, and his constituents in Ose constituency for their continued trust and support.


“It is a defining moment for me when my name was announced as the Leader of the Majority Party in the hallowed chamber—a chamber filled with eminent and cerebral colleagues.This honour is a milestone in my political trajectory ',
Oshati stated.

He extended appreciation to the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. (Chief) Olamide Oladiji, for what he described as “exceptional leadership” over the last two years.

“Mr. Speaker, you have demonstrated maturity and skill in running the affairs of the House. I look forward to working closely with you in my new capacity,” he added.

Oshati also commended the Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for fostering a thriving democratic atmosphere and for being a man of peace and integrity.

He did not forget his constituents, praising them as “the most lovely and rewarding people any representative could pray for,” while assuring them that their support would never be taken for granted.

The lawmaker acknowledged the role of his family, political associates, traditional and religious leaders, and staff of the House led by the Clerk, Barr. Benjamin Jaiyeola for the support.

Hon. Oshati described his election as a “call to serve” and vowed to discharge his duties faithfully and diligently.

“With God on my side, I shall continue to contribute my quota to the development of our Sunshine State and the advancement of a robust legislative agenda,” he said.
