Ondo Assembly Screening: Dr. Seun Osamaye Promises Effective Service Delivery

The Ondo State House of Assembly was aglow with colors and cheer on Friday as Dr. Oluwaseun Bosede Osamaye, Commissioner-nominee , appeared before lawmakers for her screening — reaffirming her resolve to faithfully execute the mandate of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, if confirmed.

The atmosphere was charged with excitement as a large contingent of women groups, political stakeholders, and prominent figures from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifedore Local Government Area and the Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency thronged the Assembly complex in a strong show of solidarity.

Dr. Osamaye, warmly received with applause and chants, took a moment to acknowledge the sea of supporters, describing their presence as a sign of shared purpose and collective hope for the state’s progress.

“I deeply appreciate our Governor, His Excellency Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for nominating me for this important role,” she told reporters shortly after the screening session. “By God’s grace, once confirmed, I will work tirelessly to implement the Governor’s vision for a more prosperous Ondo State.”

Accompanying her to the screening were a host of notable APC leaders and dignitaries, including former Speakers of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bamidele Oloyelogun and Rt. Hon. Ayo Agbonmuseri; former House of Representatives member, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye; and several local APC leaders and appointees.

Others in attendance included Hon. Mrs. Oluyemi Damilola (Special Assistant on Mobilization to the Governor), Hon. Adegunlehin Joshua Obagaye JP, Chief Biodun Fasalejo, Pastor Alabi Gabriel, Hon. Niyi Ikugbonmire, Hon. Lanre Olowoyeye, Alhaji Saliu Adekunle, Pastor Adeniseun Abebi of OSOPADEC, Chief Kehinde Adeniran (Madam KK), Bishop Odushola, Alhaja Sikirat Idera, Mrs. Tope Iwagun, and Hon. Bode Kokere, among others.

Also present were representatives of the Aserere Group from Ondo, the Orisaranmilaye family, staff of the Ministry of Women Affairs, and numerous women support groups from across the state.

Dr. Osamaye emphasized that her service, if confirmed, would be anchored on collaboration with experienced hands at the Ministry of Women Affairs and the wider community of stakeholders.

“My commitment is to deliver impactful policies and actions that align with the administration’s development agenda,” she declared. “We will not fail the confidence reposed in us.”

The screening marked another step forward in the ongoing process of constituting a robust executive team under Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership.
