Ondo Tribunal Verdict: Osamaye Felicitates with Aiyedatiwa, Adelami


The Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Women Affairs, Dr Seun Osamaye, has congratulated the Ondo State Governor, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on his triumph at the Election Petition Tribunal.


In a statement issued in Akure, Dr Osamaye extended her warmest congratulations to Governor Aiyedatiwa and the Deputy Governor, Dr Olayide Adelami, mni, on the resounding victory at the Election Petition Tribunal, which affirmed the landslide victory of Governor Aiyedatiwa as the duly elected Governor of Ondo State.

The statement added that the dismissal of the petitions filed by opposition parties , including the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Social Democratic Party (SDP), Action Alliance (AA), Allied Peoples Movement (APM), and African Democratic Congress (ADC) challenging Governor Aiyedatiwa’s victory in the 16 November 2024 governorship election, is a testimony to the people's trust and confidence in his leadership.

Dr Osamaye commended the governor’s dedication and massive infrastructural development within his first 100 days in office, as well as his commitment to the growth and development of women and children. She expressed optimism that the people of Ondo State would continue to experience sustained progress and development under his administration.

"I want to congratulate the Governor of our Ease, Odatiwa, Odirorun, Dr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, his Deputy, Dr Olayide Adelami, mni, and the entire All Progressives Congress (APC) family on this milestone. I am confident that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership will continue to bring prosperity and growth to Ondo State," she stated.

Lawmaker Condoles Family of Murdered Constituent, Promises Justice

The member representing Ile-Oluji/ Okeigbo State Constituency, Hon. Nelson Akinsuroju, has described the death of one of his constituents, Isaiah Bademosi, as unfortunate and painful, assuring the bereaved family that justice would be served. Akinsuroju gave the assurance during a condolence visit to the Bademosi family, whose son was allegedly killed by his employer, Mr. Rufus Olafusi, in Ile-Oluji. The lawmaker visited the family’s residence to get firsthand information about the incident.
