Women Affairs Adviser, Osamaye Congratulates OSOPADEC Board Members, Hails Governor’s Gender-Inclusive Policy


The Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Women Affairs, Dr Seun Osamaye, has expressed appreciation to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for appointing women to the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) Board.


According to her, the move reflects the administration’s commitment to empowering women in politics.

In a statement issued in Akure, Dr Osamaye described the appointment as a welcome development and a clear demonstration of the government's resolve to promote women’s inclusion.

She specifically congratulated the newly appointed OSOPADEC Board Chairman, Prince Biyi Poroye, along with other board members.

The statement also noted that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s inclusive leadership has continued to empower women through impactful programmes since the inception of his administration.

Dr Osamaye expressed delight and congratulated the appointed women: Mrs Ronke Benjamin (Member), Mrs Grace Abebi Aruwajoye – representing the North Senatorial District, and Mrs Aderonke Oladun – representing the South Senatorial District.

She assured that women in Ondo State would continue to support the successful implementation of the E.A.S.E Agenda and the broader vision of the Aiyedatiwa administration.
