Hon.Ologede Hails Ondo Governor’s Commitment to Education


....Commends recruitment of new teachers as a step towards educational reform

The Ondo State Government has held an induction ceremony for newly recruited public school teachers across the state.


 The event attracted notable dignitaries, including Honourable Ologede Kolawole , member representing Akure North Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Education.

Speaking at the ceremony, Hon. Ologede expressed deep appreciation to the Governor of Ondo State for his unwavering commitment to revitalising the education sector. He described the administration’s efforts as bold and visionary, especially in the face of pressing national challenges in education.

While addressing journalists, the lawmaker commended the Governor for creating employment opportunities by recruiting qualified teachers into the public school system. He stressed that the initiative not only reduces youth unemployment but also contributes to long-term educational development in the state.

“This is a commendable step by Mr. Governor.By investing in the recruitment of competent teachers, we are investing in the future of our children and, indeed, the future of Ondo State.”

The legislator maintained that the new recruitment would significantly improve learning outcomes in public schools and restore citizens’ confidence in the state’s educational institutions. He also highlighted the positive ripple effect this would have on communities and society at large.

Hon. Ologede further applauded the present administration for prioritising education at a time when many states are struggling to manage the sector. He noted that education remains a critical driver of national development and must be treated with urgency and seriousness.

In conclusion, he urged the newly inducted teachers to view their appointments as a noble call to serve. He encouraged them to be passionate, diligent, and committed to shaping the next generation of leaders through quality teaching and exemplary conduct.

Lawmaker Condoles Family of Murdered Constituent, Promises Justice

The member representing Ile-Oluji/ Okeigbo State Constituency, Hon. Nelson Akinsuroju, has described the death of one of his constituents, Isaiah Bademosi, as unfortunate and painful, assuring the bereaved family that justice would be served. Akinsuroju gave the assurance during a condolence visit to the Bademosi family, whose son was allegedly killed by his employer, Mr. Rufus Olafusi, in Ile-Oluji.
