Ondo Assembly Members felicitate Speaker Oladiji on birthday


Members of the Ondo State House of Assembly have congratulated the Speaker of the House, Rt.Hon. (Chief) Olamide Oladiji, as he marks his birthday today.
In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of other lawmakers, the Chairman, House Committee on Information, Hon. Olatunji Ifabiyi, appreciated God for the life of the Speaker, whom he described as a man of dignity and integrity.

“This special day provides an opportunity to celebrate not only your birthday, but also your unwavering dedication to the service of our dear state and nation. Your exemplary leadership, legislative sagacity, and commitment to democratic ideals have greatly contributed to strengthening the legislature as a beacon of hope, accountability, and good governance.

“As Speaker, you have consistently demonstrated courage, wisdom, and humility in piloting the affairs of the House. Your ability to foster harmony among members, pursue people-oriented legislation, and champion the cause of justice and equity remains a shining example of purposeful leadership,” the statement read.

The lawmakers acknowledged the tireless efforts of the Speaker in steering the House of Assembly, fostering development, and representing the people of Ondo State with uprightness.

While lauding his leadership style and commitment to public service at all times, the parliamentarians prayed that God would continue to grant him wisdom and success in all his endeavours.

Lawmaker Condoles Family of Murdered Constituent, Promises Justice

The member representing Ile-Oluji/ Okeigbo State Constituency, Hon. Nelson Akinsuroju, has described the death of one of his constituents, Isaiah Bademosi, as unfortunate and painful, assuring the bereaved family that justice would be served. Akinsuroju gave the assurance during a condolence visit to the Bademosi family, whose son was allegedly killed by his employer, Mr. Rufus Olafusi, in Ile-Oluji. The lawmaker visited the family’s residence to get firsthand information about the incident.
