Ondo Assembly Staff Celebrate Speaker Oladiji on Birthday


The Management and staff of the Ondo State House of Assembly have congratulated the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. (Chief) Olamide Oladiji, as he marks his birthday today.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists in Akure by the Clerk of the House, Barrister Benjamin Jaiyeola, the workers rejoiced with the Speaker on the auspicious occasion.

They also used the opportunity to appreciate Rt. Hon. Oladiji for prioritizing their welfare, noting that they have never had it so good in the history of the House.

“We extend our warmest congratulations to you on your birthday. Your guidance and wisdom have been valuable to us, and we are grateful for your tireless efforts in promoting our welfare at all times,” the statement read.

It further added: “Your leadership prowess has undoubtedly brought stability, progress, and a renewed sense of purpose to the rule of law. You are indeed a selfless and exemplary leader with a large heart.”

Barrister Jaiyeola, on behalf of the staff, wished the Speaker a special birthday filled with success and joy, while praying to God to continue to endow him with strength and wisdom to pilot the affairs of the House to greater heights.

Lawmaker Condoles Family of Murdered Constituent, Promises Justice

The member representing Ile-Oluji/ Okeigbo State Constituency, Hon. Nelson Akinsuroju, has described the death of one of his constituents, Isaiah Bademosi, as unfortunate and painful, assuring the bereaved family that justice would be served. Akinsuroju gave the assurance during a condolence visit to the Bademosi family, whose son was allegedly killed by his employer, Mr. Rufus Olafusi, in Ile-Oluji. The lawmaker visited the family’s residence to get firsthand information about the incident.
