Ondo Speaker Celebrates Parliamentary Secretary Ogunwumiju on  Birthday

The Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Chief) Olamide Oladiji, has extended warm birthday felicitations to the Parliamentary Secretary of the House and representative of Ondo West 1 Constituency, Hon. Moyinolorun Taiwo Ogunwumiju.
In a personally signed message issued in Akure today, the Speaker described Ogunwumiju as “a man of dignity, honour and unwavering dedication to the advancement of his Constituency and Ondo State at large.”

Oladiji praised Ogunwumiju’s commitment to legislative excellence, noting that the lawmaker’s efforts have continued to earn him the admiration of his people. He particularly highlighted Ogunwumiju’s sponsorship of a private Bill, commending his passion for addressing critical societal needs through purposeful legislation.

“Your tireless efforts in championing development in your Constituency have earned you the respect and admiration of your people. Notably, your sponsorship of a private Bill demonstrates your commitment to addressing specific needs in our society,” the Speaker’s message read.

While wishing the celebrant a joyful and fulfilling birthday, Oladiji prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, and good health for the Parliamentary Secretary as he presses on in his service to humanity.

Lawmaker Condoles Family of Murdered Constituent, Promises Justice

The member representing Ile-Oluji/ Okeigbo State Constituency, Hon. Nelson Akinsuroju, has described the death of one of his constituents, Isaiah Bademosi, as unfortunate and painful, assuring the bereaved family that justice would be served. Akinsuroju gave the assurance during a condolence visit to the Bademosi family, whose son was allegedly killed by his employer, Mr. Rufus Olafusi, in Ile-Oluji. The lawmaker visited the family’s residence to get firsthand information about the incident.
