Ondo Speaker congratulates Majority Leader, House Spokesperson on birthdays

The Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Chief Olamide Oladiji, has congratulated the House Majority Leader, Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi, on the occasion of his birthday today. The Speaker also felicitated the Chairman of the House Committee on Information, Chief Olatunji Oshati, on his 60th birthday celebration. LG poll:Ondo Speaker casts vote, highlights significance of grassroots devt.

The Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Chief Olamide Oladiji, has cast his vote at Polling Unit 5, Ward 9, Sasere, in Ondo East Local Government Area. Speaking with journalists after exercising his franchise, the Speaker expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the election by the Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC). While emphasising the importance of the local government election, Oladiji appreciated Governor (Dr) Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his various initiatives aimed at promoting smooth and effective grassroots development in the Sunshine State. The Speaker later commended the people of Ondo State for maintaining peace and coming out to cast their votes.

The Chairman,Ondo State House of  Assembly Service Commission, Hon. Dare Emiola says all hands would continue to be on deck to ensure effective service delivery for the overall development of the State. He stated this while speaking with The House of Assembly Correspondents in an interview shortly after the first prayer meeting of the legislative arm with staff and said that the proposal of the commission was to recruit more staff to the House of the Assembly and carry out rigorous training and retraining of workers.  “ Our expectations  for 2025 as embedded in the budget are to ensure better life for all staff. We have proposed new office complex that has been approved by Mr Governor. ONDO Assembly promises more welfare packages for staff

Ondo State House of Assembly has assured of its resolve to continue  prioritising the welfare of Staff and deligently perform legislative business  for efficient service delivery. The Speaker,  Chief Olamide Oladiji gave the assurance while addressing the Assembly Staff and Commission at this year's first prayer meeting held at the Assembly complex in Akure. While promising to give facelift to offices and the health center at the Assembly Complex,he said it was an opportunity for Legislators and Staff of the State House of Assembly to converge and thank God for seeing another year 2025.  Oladiji who read the only Bible lesson from Psalm 121 commended Lawmakers and Staff of the State Legislature for their commitment and hardwork towards smooth running of legislative business in the State.
