The Ondo State Government has rescued a middle-aged nursing mother, Mrs Elizabeth Iromidayo, whose video had gone viral online, showing her wandering around Ala Quarters in Akure. The 35-year-old woman, who was found with her three-month-old baby, was identified as a native of Aiyetoro Community in Ilaje Local Government Area. The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) will rue their missed goal-scoring chances in a novelty match played against the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) at the Ijapo Housing Field, Akure. The match, played between both professional women’s bodies as part of activities marking NAWOJ Week, ended in a goalless draw. NAWOJ failed to convert a penalty opportunity early in the game after a FIDA player handled the ball inside the 18-yard box.
